Description

Duties:
Transfer data to state communicable disease databases developed for tracking COVID-19 (OPERA and ARIAS systems).
Correspond with Team Lead and other members of the Program to facilitate completion of records.
Attend required program meetings, team meetings and staff trainings.
This position DOES NOT provide medical advice or communicate with any entity outside of the Contact Tracing Program structure, it is clerical in nature.
Skills Required: 3+ years of demonstrated proof of the following skills in a workplace environment.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office 2016 or newer products, specifically:
Email
Calendar (will be used for links to meetings and trainings)
Word
Excel
Adobe: PDF Forms
Zoom (or other conferencing programs). Used for Program Meetings, Team Meetings and Staff Trainings.
Data entry (multiple systems)
Effective, clear and concise oral and written communication of difficult or complex issues.
Understanding of the medical terms and principles of: exposure, infection, infectious period, potentially infectious interactions, symptoms of disease, pre-symptomatic and asymptomatic infection for the purposes of accurate data entry.
Excellent interpersonal communication and culturally sensitive skills in handling and receiving data and direction.
Evidence of timely, dependable work production and administrative duties.
Ability to work compatibly within a team.
Understanding of and adherence to the principles of patient confidentiality.
Other Requirements:
A location in the privacy of YOUR HOME where you are able to PROCESS electronic information, communicate with Team Lead and other Program members and participate in Zoom meetings without violating confidentiality (e.g., away from others, with the ability to conduct a private conversation)
Personal Computer with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 or newer suite of products.
Ability to work a varied or task-based schedule.
Hours/Schedule:
Part-time with the potential for full-time FIXED SCHEDULE (for purposes of EXAMPLE ONLY: 6hrs per day, 9AM to 3:30PM, 4 days per week, days TBD). Work is determined by case volume therefore flexibility is essential.

Preferred but not Required: Degree in healthcare related field of study. Workplace experience requirement must still be met
