Nature of Work:
Serve as the support staff and provide vital assistance to Program Managers. Communicates with the customer and the various groups within Ascentron to meet customer schedules, specifications and expectations. Reports to the Sr. Program Manager

Duties and Task Statements:
Maintain a customer contact list and database.
Set up customers in the MRP (Max) system.
Enter Sales Orders/Credit Memos.
Enter RMA?s
Create and maintain PDF documents.
Monitors quote activities making sure package completions are on track.
Verify test equipment or other tooling is on order or in place to prevent delays in production and notify customer of needed replacement tooling.
Insure that purchasing is working on the resolution of any part issues.
Take direction from the Program Mangers and Sr. Program Manager as required.
Additional duties as assigned.

Formal Interaction with others:
Interacts with staff members of Quality Control, Purchasing, Engineering, Receiving, Manufacturing, Engineering and Receiving Inspection. Communicates Program Managers to obtain assistance, communicate concerns, and meet customer expectations.

Work Environment:
The work setting consists of an office and production environment with adequate lighting, and suitable temperatures. The work schedule consists of a five-day 40-hour workweek with overtime dependent upon department/customer needs. Travel may be required based on customer needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a high school education or equivalent.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired. Additionally, the employee must successfully complete all internal courses offered and required by Ascentron necessary to do the job.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Employee must be self-motivated and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Organizational and time management skills are needed to ensure that the requested tasks are completed by the specific deadlines along with knowledge of various quality issues affecting the manufacturing environment. Excellent interpersonal skills are needed. Must have basic computer knowledge for using (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point). Sales, Marketing Finance, Accounting and MRP experience is a plus. Employee must work safely at all times and maintain the confidentiality of all customer and company information. Employee may be required to lift 25lbs periodically.
