Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming telephone calls and transfer to the appropriate Associate
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Clerical duties including word processing and filing and document accuracy
  • Facilitate various accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including:
    • Processing Cash box jounal/credit card summary
    • Review Freight audit report and billing of incoming/outgoing freight
    • Cancelling invoices and billing adjustments o Billing direct orders
    • Processing freight claims, stock receipts and discrepancies

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Expectations:
  • Prior telephone experience and outstanding telephone etiquette
  • Experience with Accounts payable/receivable functions preferred
  • Accurate, dependable, and detail oriented
  • Professional appearance as well as dependable, reliable, and punctual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time
  • Excellent customer service
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office a plus
  • Self-motivated problem solver

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Office work, primarily sitting at a desk, and some warehouse activity
  • Frequent phone and computer use
  • Usual 40 hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
  • Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
