Description

The Junior production planner is responsible for assisting the Production & Scheduling Manager in capacity planning based on sales projections and incoming orders by assigning lead times and maintaining a high level of detailed communication between management, sales, production, and customer service. Manage daily batches making sure work is being schedule as even as possible within capacity. Provide additional backup assistance to Production & Scheduling Manager as needed.

? Follow plant safety and 6s policies, reporting any injuries or near misses immediately.
? Analyze daily and weekly orders received and assign lead times based on company capacities, capabilities, constraints and guidelines.
? Work with Production & Scheduling Manager to generate weekly and daily production plans to meet requirements and utilize resources effectively.
? Notify Production & Scheduling Manager of upcoming schedules or potential issues, including options or ideas to keep work on schedule.
? Ensure all paperwork associated with batching orders is accurate and complete
? Maintain efficient communication with management, customer service team, customers, and production about orders and products
? Develop efficient, accurate, and timely schedule adjustments
? Update logs such as back orders and remakes
? Update daily reports (IGU, Loading, Production Data)
? Work with customer service manager on any released jobs that need revisions/adjustments
? Able to assess and enter orders into entry system accordingly
? Manage TCG, FCG, Buyouts, and Remakes orders
? Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum of 2 years relatable experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
High School Diploma
Preferred: Associates or Bachelor?s degree in related field

10-Key, prioritize workload, attention to detail, coordinate various tasks simultaneously, maintain a high level of professionalism, ability to solve complex problems, excellent communication, punctual, team player, proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, works well with minimal to no supervision
