Responsible for ensuring preventative maintenance and repair of all building and select production equipment for all production facilities is performed in an efficient and effective manner, specifically; electrical maintenance, to include lighting, HVAC (heating/ventilating/air conditioning) refrigeration maintenance.

? Provide and evaluate electrical service relative to the calculation of amperage, wire size, conduit needs, and transformer loads in low to high voltages for all production and/or building needs in order to maintain equipment operation.
? Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, vacuum pumps, and emergency generator systems in order to maintain company production processes.
? Provide lighting needs to all production facilities relative to; install fixtures and changing all types of ballasts in order to provide for the proper lighting requirements necessary to the overall operation of the production facilities.
? Maintain and provide service to all HVAC equipment (refrigeration condensers, heat pumps, humidifiers, fluid coolers, boilers, exhaust blowers, etc.) to ensure proper working conditions for employees and continuing production processes.
? Update and change ISO instructions on production and building equipment that require preventative maintenance in order to ensure proper and efficient operation.
? Maintain inventory necessary to production/building equipment
? Request and provide for sufficient department personnel staffing to ensure Maintenance department goals are met.
? Schedule, delegate, and prioritize all maintenance projects to ensure the most important jobs are completed in a timely manner.
? Monitor and ensure that all maintenance employees are performing all necessary preventative maintenance tasks correctly and efficiently.
? Assist with plant changes relative to layout, design, and installation of production and building design processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective operation of these systems.
Contact and schedule outside contract work and ensure work is completed according to contractual agreement and company expectations.
? Troubleshoot and repair grounding faults, short circuits, and overloaded circuits as necessary, to ensure a safe working environment and reduce production downtime.
? Repair building fixtures (door locks, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, bathroom fixtures, etc.) as necessary to maintain a safe and professional company image.
? Provide all required production equipment materials (air, nitrogen, power, vacuum, cooling, drain water) to maintain company production expectations.
? Providing monthly reports when requested to the Operations Manager regarding the previous month?s problems and resolutions relative to electrical costs, HVAC efficiency, and process concerns to aide in process improvement implementation and cost reduction.
? Additional duties as assigned.


Employee will be required to have three to five years of previous experience in the areas of Industrial/Construction, electrical work, pipe fitting, HVAC, refrigeration, and general mechanical maintenance.

A minimum of a high school education followed with two to three years of additional schooling in the areas of Industrial/Construction/Electrical programs. Employee will be expected to successfully complete all internal training courses offered by the company, specifically including: Supervisor training, ESD training, and all other courses the company deems necessary for the individual to successfully perform in this position.
