DescriptionCOVID-19 Data & Communications Specialist
The COVID-19 Data & Communications Specialist will gather internal data and information regarding Josephine County Public Health COVID-19 operations and be responsible for interpreting and expressing that information to members of the COVID-19 Incident Response Team. Responsibilities include tracking local and state data on COVID-19 cases, vaccination rates, etc.; verifying information with various individuals and organizations; producing charts and graphs reflecting current data; providing summary updates on team activities; and providing a regular situational report that clearly expresses current data and trends.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; have the ability to create, manage and work with data sets; have excellent interpersonal communication skills; and able to work in a flexible, fast-paced team environment. Medical or public health knowledge a plus but not required.
