DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking self-motivated professionals who thrive in a dynamic work environment with a flexible schedule and limited hours in the office. Must be able to build relationships, network, advertise, and market yourself as well as our company. 
 
We are a new kind of employment agency. We contract directly with THE STATE OF OREGON to get Oregon back to work. We work with individuals with barriers to employment, helping them to successfully obtain and keep competitive employment based on the individual's strengths and skills. 
 
This position consists of networking with local business owners, building relationships through honest rapport and establishing employers needs and matching needs with job seeker skills. Those who are sales and marketing-minded but enjoy working with people do very well at this job. 
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities
  • Be the face of the Company to business owners and community leaders
  • Manage Company Media Presence
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting business relationships
  • Deliver on the spot presentations to business owners and managers
  • Handle inbound employment lead calls and convert calls into job placements
  • Negotiate employment contracts and agreements to maximize opportunities
  • Identify employer needs and match job seeker to meet employer need
  • Collaborate with team to establish best fit for client and employers
  • Generate Leads
  • Creating business and employer lead list
  • Cold Call at specific businesses
  • Networking at Chamber and other business events
  • Understand responsibilities of supporting people in achieving and maintaining integrated and competitive employment. This includes
  • Keeping required documentation and any other prescribed or related task
  • Educating potential employers of the amazing benefits of hiring people with unique skills
  • Act as an appropriate role model and support people in developing skills necessary for gaining and maintaining employment
  • Assist people (as applicable to the person) with the following supports:
  • Resume assistance
  • Interview preparation and assistance
  • Job development and job searching techniques
  • Marketing individuals' employment skills
  • Assist with encourage personal hygiene
  • Encouraging relationships and other needs of the person as identified by their team
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a desire and interest to work with and on behalf of people with disabilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must pass a criminal background screening.
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle, acceptable Driving Record, and current automobile insurance that meets State minimum
  • standards
  • Must have a personal computer or access to one daily. 
  • Must have access to a smart phone daily.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • College Degree or training in Business / Sales / Marketing is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of Sales/Marketing/Promotion experience (Outside Sales preferred).
  • Self-motivated and desire to work independently with excellent ability to multitask
