Local restaurant franchisee is currently looking for an IT Field Tech to travel between restaurants, from Medford to Vancouver, to ensure each location’s equipment is properly working, work to increase productivity, monitor systems to avoid potential threats, perform schedule maintenance, install new software and hardware as needed, and more. This is a key role within in the organization. 

Requirements and Job Details: 
We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of computers, someone who has a broad understanding of both hardware and software, operating systems, as well as basic computer programming. 
To be successful in this role you must be able to clearly communicate, as well as able to successfully train a diverse group of employees on systems and processes. 

The IT Field Tech must be organized, self-starting and able to manage projects from beginning all the way through to completion. The IT Field Tech works regular office hours plus a rotating schedule of on-call hours (one out of three weekends). Training will be conducted in our Eugene office. Following training primary areas of responsibility will include Vancouver, WA to Salem, Oregon (not including on-call hours).

Travel between Vancouver and Medford as one of a team of Techs responsible for keeping systems up-to-date and running properly. Responsible for hands-on technical support of all systems within the restaurant; including point of sale, internet, telephones, back office computers and server interface. Work environment can be both indoors and outdoors, but never sitting at a desk. This position is on the road and in the restaurants making a difference every day.

As an IT Field Tech you are the first point of contact for all technical trouble shooting; must be able to think on your feet, make critical, independent decisions to keep systems up and running. Customer service is always our #1 priority.

Bring your project management skills, A+ certification, energy, people skills and knowledge of networked systems. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE, and a valid Oregon Driver's License.
