Job Title   QUALITY INTEGRITY MANAGER

Description  

Proudly staffing a team player to join the QC Department with a local manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must meet the below requirements needed for this position:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • REQUIRED
    • Broad and in-depth knowledge of quality Inspectors.
    • Knowledge and experience of product evaluation methods.
    •  Knowledge of statistics typically used in quality control.
    • Knowledge and experience in statistical process control.
    • General knowledge of data storage, data reporting, and data analysis techniques.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in multifunctional groups.
  • PREFERRED ADDITIONAL
    • Knowledge of disposable nonwovens converting processes.
    • Knowledge of disposable diaper products test methods and lab procedures with a special focus on statistical analysis techniques.
    • Knowledge of all raw materials used in the disposable nonwovens products.
    • Knowledge to include each individual raw material specification and how it impacts disposable nonwoven converting products and process.
    • Previous experience and in depth knowledge of Quality Window software.
    •  Previous assignments in the production area with a diaper mfgr. (Preferred) or other high speed, high volume process. Participates and acts as a resource for developing and managing Quality SOP s for operations.
    • Prepares and presents quality summary information for operations using Quality Window, Consumer Comment Data, and other sources as tools.
    • Participates in morning production meetings and other such meetings and represents the PM&D philosophy as an ingredient of problem solving and direction setting.
    • High level of professional integrity, unwilling to compromise on product quality.
    • High diligence to test product accurately, and high integrity to deliver factual results.
    • Comfortable on the machine floor working directly with machine operators.
    • Analytical thinker & creative problem solver.
    • Can effectively multi-task by maintaining a number of projects active at the same time.
    • Ability to provide bottom line analysis for all levels of the organization. Can effectively and persuasively present findings to executive groups, customers, and plant personnel.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the quality audit and reporting system for the plant.
  • Pursue action and recommend disposition in the event defects are identified. Initiate product holds and maintain a status & inventory of hold products.
  • Initiate a line shutdown procedure if required.
  • Ensure the 'spec exception' process is followed if required. Maintain qualification status for all lab equipment according to Shuster lab requirements.
  • Manage effective lab sampling frequency plans and adjust as needed.
  • Maintain and update QW template structure.
  • Continuously improve DMS, Quality Auditing Systems and Quality Window Skill Requirements
CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to prioritize duties/projects and appropriately handle multiple job tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (if applicable)
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
 
       
Pay Rate   Pay is determined upon experience.  
Schedule   8am - 5pm  
Scheduled Hours   40 per week
